I just found out a couple of hours ago that my Step-Father has passed away from "hairy-celled" leukemia. Carl was a fighter to the end, he had been fighting the leukemia on and off for 30 years. He was there for me in the worst time of my life, when my Mother was killed. But, he was also there for some of my best memories. Rest In Peace Carl, you will truly be missed. I wish we had one more day together. No more fighting, not more pain. Roger.

Usually the weekends are mellow, laid back and easy. Today a resident came and told me that they had a bad leak coming from their ceiling in their shower area. I checked it out and went to the dorm on the second floor. I went into the four man room above the room that had the leak. It sounded as someone was in the shower. Today was a good news bad news kind of day in regards to my work related injury. The good news is no ruptured discs. The bad news, I have degenerative disc disease, and they have no clue what is causing my pain... I have to go see a specialist and also start physical therapy.
