- Ok ... Living in Nottingham UK. Currently Vice mens Chapter leader and have been practising for around 14 years now I guess. I received Tokubetsu gohonzon late last year and after some struggle, I'm finally getting it enshrined on May 1st .. yay :-)
Just been listening to Jason Jarretts podcast and this bit stood out for me .. not word for word but you get the idea:
"Don't complain - ask yourself if complaining works ? Has it EVER worked ? .. NO !!! All it does it to feed the sludge in our life whilst we look for a free ride to happiness. We must strive to bring out our limitless life condition here and now and become totally indispensible where we are at this present time - Chant and challenge ourselves to have a breakthrough".

I am the Kankucho Bird
Of all the various things that Nichiren mentions, I continually find myself identifying with the Kankuco bird .. the one who froze by night in the cold and swore that tomorrow he would build a nest to keep warm, but when the day came, he sunbathed and didn't do the work necessary to build his nest and once again froze.
