- I've been chanting since 1985. In 2006 SGI-Chicago started Super Morning Gongyo. I decided then to make a goal of being rid of grief that went back 10 years to when Patrick died of Aids. I gave it one year "or else" to overcome the obstacles standing in the way of my own human revolution. Over that year I brought a dozen new people to the Center and 5 of those received their gohonzon's. I fought of demons that plagued my mind with circular arguments. These went back to memories of my childhood in the '40's and '50's and adolescent '60's. Fighting my demons overcame the obstacles standing in my way and offered insight as to who I was back then - in the eyes of a mature adult. This in turn changed who I am today and taught me what a changed person I am. I am ready to attain a new level of enlightenment now.
I manage the Marina Tower Condominium Association and have started up the Marina Group which may turn into our own District.
