Yesterday my coworker had a heart attack. She is older and stubborn (that is an understatement...) She refused to go to the hospital by ambulance against the advice of our RN on center and the Paramedics on scene. I worked on a rescue unit and in an Trauma Center ER for over eight years. She finally agreed to go to the hospital if I would drive her (not the best choice scenario). My work wouldn't let me leave to drive her to the hospital, made me give her cars keys back and let her drive herself 20 mile home and then her Daughter took her to the ER. This is absolute insanity, stupidity etc. !!! The moron who was in charge last night has no clue what kind of liability she opened the center and D.O.L. to, and the danger she put my coworker and the public into. I decided to stay home today. I felt discretion was the better part of valor today because I was afraid my alligator mouth would overload my tweety bird ass,,, If my coworker does come back to work, we are going to have a "come to Buddha Meeting" and I am going to let her know I will not allow her to put into that position again. I have to admit, I am upset and mad at her... Not very Buddhist, but that's where I am right now...

Mutual possession of the Ten Worlds: There is Buddhahood and Bodhisattva in Anger. Anger at injustice, et cetera.
You're using your wisdom. In the many experiences I've had where it's been necessary to confront a co-worker, friend, family member, I've learned it's best to chant, chant, chant that you each come away feeling good about the conversation and that you have the wisdom to say what needs to be said in a way that the other person will actually listen.

Fortunately for her, you chant. She might not know it, but that may have saved her life.

You are soooo much like me. I would have told the Boss man a thing or two, or three!
Don't you just hate it when people make you step outside your Buddah nature?
I know I do and as of late I've been outside mine.

Chant for me people....
