*sniff* once upon a time there was a happy go lucky 19 yr old who was looking forwards to her birthday coming up in a few months. She had a brilliant plan that perhaps she could spend it flying over to San Francisco, and then POOF out of the blue she found out that her friend was thinking of going to and staying w/ her granny. So as she and her friend were getting the plans all together and sorted out the 19 yr olds b-day was quickly approaching ^o^b (along w/ college finals T_T <--crying face). the happy go lucky 19 yr old purchased her ticket and was set and ready to go go a month before the decided date of departure. Then a couple of weeks before the end of April he friend called and told her some to so pleasant news, the same time they were planning to come over was the same time her granny was flying out so visit her brother, well ok fine not SO bad they could fly out anyways and just stay in the house right? RIGHT? NO! not only was her grandmother going to be away but her grandfather was remodeling the house, as so there would not be a place to stay. At this point i believe i made a new river in the mid west. so after many calls to family members (which the 19 yr old does not have much in the states) the Revered vacation plan all of a sudden went POOF! *kicks a wall, punches a pillow and screams* now remember this is just about 2 weeks before leave ADD the 19 yr old bought the ticket....can you spell S.U.C.K.S?
So after internally holding it in, the 19 yr old finally broke down and got growth sickness...meaning that the 19 had was spiritually growing inside (with the guidance of her mother) in over coming this "temporary set back" (ya right, more like don't go over to your friends house and strangle her) and using that sadness/anger/frustration/all that good stuff and using it to push her self up (believe me it a bit difficult when you feel like you are on a roller coaster ride inside).
So the 19 yr old swallowed her disappointment and called up southwest airlines to release the ticket but hold onto the money for future (and there will be one) vacation....but the situation still sucked
THE END
